NBA Women

The Phoenix Mercury Women recovered from an 11-point deficit to beat Portland Women 94-91 on Wednesday night, closing the game on a decisive run after trailing for much of the second half. Portland led by 11 at their largest advantage but managed only 14 points over the final eight minutes as Phoenix took control of the tempo and the scoreboard. The result moves Phoenix above Portland in the standings and leaves the home side to examine a late-game collapse that has now repeated across recent fixtures.
